Playful · Mindful · AI
ContemPlay is a playful, mindful space to pause, look, and linger — a conversation with an AI facilitator who doesn't think for her audience, but helps them think for themselves.

How it works
One image. No feed, no timer, no score. Claire opens with a single question that asks only one thing of you: settle in, take a breath, and really look.
Follow your curiosity. Informed by decades of museum facilitation, Claire asks thoughtful questions to help you notice more, trust your own observations, and discover more—for yourself.
Let meaning unfold. Share what catches your eye, explore how others saw something entirely different, and leave with observations that are genuinely yours.
Meet Claire
Claire asks the one question that makes you actually notice. Then she listens, reflects back what you saw, and draws you deeper — never handing you the answer. She's one of ContemPlay's AI facilitators built on a patent-pending method of non-leading inquiry, drawn from decades of facilitation research in museums and classrooms.
When you're ready, she introduces you to other ContemPlayers who looked at the very same thing and saw something else.

Claire
What things, big or small, first catch your attention here?
You
The panel in the mirrors.
Claire deepens
You're drawn to the panel reflected in the mirrors — that's a layered kind of noticing, seeing something both directly and through its reflection.
You go deeper
I just noticed it's the entry to another room.
Tessa — surfaced by Claire
The depth to the space is dramatic. The contrast to what is beyond the mirrors could not be more pronounced.
You
I am drawn to the welcoming living space beyond the mirrors. By looking together, I noticed more than I would have alone.

The method
ContemPlay is rooted in Visual Thinking Strategies — a research-backed facilitation method practiced at institutions including MoMA, The Met, and MFA Boston, and used to train observation at Harvard and Johns Hopkins medical schools.
Our founding team includes two of the method's leading practitioners — people who have spent their careers teaching others how to look. Claire learned to ask from them.
